MD: Microdiscectomy

"MD" is one of the lower back pain treatments. This page explains the contents, features and procedure of the treatment.

What is MD?

"MD" is the surgical method to be applied to the herniated discs from moderate to severe under general anesthesia. An around 3 ~5 cm long incision is formed on the back and the projecting herniated part is resected under a microscope surgically.
