The MRI apparatus of this hospital has gradient magnetic field strength (1.5T). Both high-resolution imaging of each part and high-speed imaging are achieved by a new-style coil (where receiving the image signal), therefore, a wide range can be taken as a high-definition image. It takes approximately 20 to 40 minutes.
X-ray Fluoroscope (Apparatus for checking if the needle with a laser is inserted properly during surgery)
A needle with a laser is inserted into the herniated disc, and confirming the position with a radioscopy. This apparatus is for checking if the needle penetrates the fibrous ring of the affected intervertebral disc and precisely passes through into the center of the nucleus pulposus.
Laser Equipment (Equipment for evaporating the nucleus pulposus of the intervertebral disc)
In this hospital, the cutting-edge medical equipment, called the "Power Health 1" (Nd:YAG LASER) is used. Less transpiration of damage is possible and has the excellent ability in hemostasis.
General Radiography (Apparatus for identifying the cause of lower back pain)
General radiography is for X-ray for the chest, abdomen, systemic bone, etc.
In conventional method of X-ray photography, we had to develop the image with attaching X-ray directly to FILM. In the latest digital photographing by CR, however, X-rays which was received on a special photosensitive plate, is scanned with an image reading apparatus. Then it is processed into a computer as a digital data and is output on FILM.
Compared to the conventional X-ray images, the output image became possible to provide the wide range and clearness of the diagnosis domain. It is also possible to form different images from various angles based on the image data taken previously.
CT (Equipment for identifying the cause of lower back pain)
The CT （Computed Tomography) apparatus - X-ray is irradiated to the human body from 360 degree directions and the data is calculated in a computer, then constitutes the images of a human body cut in round slices.
As wide range images can be taken in a short time, it is possible to shorten the inspection time.
So far, it was needed to hold one's breath for about 25 to 30 seconds in an inspection of the chest and liver though, it became to possible to be taken within 5 seconds to photograph the whole abdomen with a single breath-hold.
Furthermore, it is equipped with the function to control the X-ray dose automatically, depending on the parts and the shape of a body. Thus, it became possible to suppress the radiation exposure with maintaining the image quality. In particular, in filming of infants at the emergency, it is very effective of radiation exposure reduction to the extensive photography.
Also, by the high speed of image processing, the tomogram images or three-dimensional image viewed from every angle can be created easily. As a result, it became to be able to create high-quality 3D (three-dimensional) images of the bone and blood vessels, and to provide an image of much information.
